Overview

This module explains how each department within a museum can contribute to the institution’s accessibility. It outlines the role that staff members can play in creating a museum that is accessible to all.
This module explains how all the staff of a museum, regardless of their role or department, can contribute to creating an accessibility culture.  It speaks to issues related to museum management as well as to the roles and responsibilities of individual staff members.
The materials in this module provide a starting point for discussions about accessibility and museum management and could be used in courses about communication, management, museum studies, communities, and exhibition and program design
